Training is of huge importance to employees and is now also a legal requirement. The "Duty to Manage" states that you are, so far as reasonably practicable; to protect your workers from exposure to asbestos. This places a legal duty on you in the form of information, instruction and training. Our course meets the requirements of the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2012 & ACOP (Approved Code of Practice) L143.
The current regulations require mandatory training for anyone liable to be exposed to asbestos fibres at work. This includes maintenance workers and other tradesman who may come into contact with or who may disturb asbestos within the property.
The programme is fully interactive and delivered with video and audio presentations.
This certificate can be issued on the day of training subject to a pass and sufficient knowledge by the candidate. The candidate will receive both a paper copy of their certificate and an electronic copy by email shortly after completion.
Once you have completed the course you have the option to contact one of our technical staff should you wish to ask them any further questions regarding the contents of the course or anything further afield in the asbestos industry.
